Meet your hosts for the Big Brother Titans 2023; Nigerian TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and South Africa’s acclaimed Lawrence Maleka.

The entertainment packed for next year will be massive. The Big Brother Titans show scheduled for January 2023 is expected to be bigger and better than anything we have experienced on the show. It will merge contestants from Nigeria and South Africa and see them ride it out in Biggie’s house for the prize money.

According to a report from Business Day, MultiChoice announced that the Big Brother Titans show will commence on January 15, 2023, and will air Live on DStv Channel 198 and GoTv channel 29. The show will air for 72 days and feature selected contestants from Nigeria and South Africa. They will all contest for the prize money of $100,000.

The announcement was made by Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, at a media event held at La Madison Place in Lekki, Lagos State.

Tejumola announced that the show would have two hosts, already known to the Nigerian and South African Big Brother franchise. They include Ebuka Obi Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka.

Ebuka Obi Uchendu

Ebuka Obi Uchendu is a famous Nigerian TV personality and lawyer. He gained recognition as an ex-Big Brother housemate. Ebuka gained prominence as host of the Big Brother Naija show, which earned him massive acclaim. He also hosts the long-running Rubbin’ Minds talk show on Channels TV and co-hosts The Spot and Men’s Corner on Ebonylife television. Ebuka’s unique fashion sense has earned him a loyal following which he gathered while hosting the Big Brother Naija show. He is also an ambassador for brands including Budweiser Nigeria, Samsung Nigeria, PorkMoney, and 2Sure Nigeria.

Lawrence Maleka is a 32-year-old South African TV host, actor, and presenter. Maleka rose to prominence after hosting the Mzansi Magic reality show Clash of the Choirs in South Africa. He also gained acclaim when he replaced Bonang Matheba as the new host in the show’s third season in 2016. He is also famous on the popular South African TV show “The River” for playing the character, Zolani. Lawrence gained even more praise for hosting the third season of Big Brother Mzansi. He is set to co-host the new Big Brother Titans with Nigeria’s acclaimed host Ebuka Obi Uchendu.

The BB Titans edition is sponsored by Flutterwave, Bamboo, and Lotto Star and will be held in South Africa. It will be available to stream on Showmax in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and 45 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
