Born Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, DJ Masterkraft is one of Nigeria’s most famous DJs and has worked with several artists as one of Nigeria’s top ten music producers; his mixtape has been played on several musical programs. In addition to being a Record producer, he is also a disc jockey, pianist, and lyricist. He attended United Christian Secondary School in Apapa as a child and wanted to be an accountant.

He began his professional music career with Kennis Music and has collaborated with various musicians, including Flavour N’abania, Bracket, Banky W., Sound Sultan, Timaya, Lynxxx, M.I., and J. Martins. His hit productions include “Fine woman” by Lynxxx featuring Wizkid, “Kwarikwa (Remix)” by Flavour N’abania with Fally Ipupa, “Girl” by Bracket featuring Wizkid, “Chinny Baby” by Flavour N’abania, and “Jasi” by Banky W.

On its list of the Top 10 Music Producers in Nigeria for 2014, Leadership newspaper rated him eighth. Nigeria Entertainment Today listed him as the seventh-biggest music producer in Nigeria in August 2015. In addition, he was one of the Top 10 Music Producers in Nigeria, according to the Thisday newspaper, and has had an illustrious career so far.

Born Olawunmi Okerayi,  DJ Lambo may not be as well-known as the other DJs on the list regarding projects and collaborations. Still, different sources and reports have ranked her among the top ten Nigerian DJs to look out for in the future. In addition, she was recognized as the year’s top female DJ at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.

She has released projects as an artist, and Reinhard even produced one of her songs, “Drank,” which got many radio plays and favorable reviews. Before its merger with Chocolate City in 2015, she signed with Loopy Music in 2013. That same year, She was ranked among the top five Female Nigerian DJs to watch in 2015 by Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET).

In 2017, Big Brother Naija, a reality television program, selected DJ Lambo to perform during the Season 2 Saturday party. She currently serves as president and CEO of Choc Boi Nation (CBN), a division of Chocolate City, one of the biggest record labels in the nation. This makes her one of the first female label executives in Nigeria.

Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known by her stage as DJ Cuppy, is the daughter of well-known tycoon and businessman Femi Otedola. She is a Nigerian performer, producer, and musician who has revolutionized how many see Nigerian entertainment scenes and their stereotyping nature.

Cuppy spent her first six years at Ilupeju before relocating to Ikeja, where she attended Grange School, Ikeja. She afterward moved to London to study for her GCSEs and A-Levels. In July 2014, she received her business and economics degree from King’s College London. 2015 saw her graduate with a master’s in Music business from New York University. As of October 2021, Cuppy was enrolled at the University of Oxford and was studying for a master’s degree in African Studies.

She has a net worth of over $2.5 million, making her one of the most prosperous female DJs in the nation. She is now employed as a Red Velvet Music Group DJ, a label she is said to own. DJ Spinall, Sodamola Oluseye Desmond, is a multi-award-winning DJ from Nigeria. He is recognizable for his unusual outfit of a traditional cap, regardless of the type of apparel he is wearing.

DJ Spinall claims that the name “Spin-various” relates to the fact that he plays a wide variety of Music. His frequently released mixtape, ‘The Cap,’ has drawn much interest online. He studied at different DJ schools and received instruction from giants like DJ Slim, DJ Hotega, and DJ Jimmy Jatt. His bachelor’s degree is in Electrical Electronics Engineering. Due to his fame, many brands have him as an ambassador.

While becoming one of 2,300 members of “The Recording Academy” for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, he continued to push the limits of international boundaries. For example, in Beyonce’s “Lion King: The Gift” documentary, DJ Spinall discussed the album’s caliber and theme.

Obianuju Catherine Udeh, better known by her stage name DJ Switch, is a disc jockey, songwriter, and singer from Nigeria. At 29, she won the first season of The Glo X Factor in 2013. She is the youngest child of eight, a native of Udi, Enugu State, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, and a working professional disc jockey.

DJ Switch has worked in the entertainment industry, from being disc jockey to being songwriter and musician. However, it came to public notice for the first time in 2009 when her band, “Da Pulse,” won the Star Quest reality music Competition
They later released the famous song “So Tey,” which had Busta Rhymes, an American rapper, in the remix.
Her career began to take off after her victory in the first and final season of the Glo X-Factor in 2013. She was given record deal with Sony Music after being chosen as Peter Okoye’s P -Classic Records’ endorsement for the Glo X-Factor winner. She is also remembered for her bravado and courage during the EndSars protest in 2020.

DJ Kaywise

Additionally, he has produced a few mixtapes with Mavins themes, like “Mavin All Stars,” “Surulere Mixtape Volume 1,” and others. He is an accomplished entertainer and Mavin Records’ official DJ. He is also one of the DJs with the highest education in the country; He has an MBA.

Dj Big N began his career in the UK by performing at neighborhood clubs in the West Midlands, then made guest appearances at Club “Release” and the Palms Club in Coventry. DJ Enimoney, also known by his stage name Eniola Olamilekan Adedeji, is a DJ and recording artist from Nigeria. He is the younger brother of the Nigerian rapper Olamide and is currently a signed DJ with YBNL Nation.

After releasing his breakthrough single “Oya dab,” which featured Olamide, he gained notoriety. Since then, DJ Enimoney has recorded several other successful singles and collaborated with several Nigerian musicians. He is currently regarded as one of Nigeria’s best DJs and produces several well-liked mixtapes.

In Nigeria, he has played on several significant stages, and his “WOBEY DJ CAMPUS TOUR” is still one of the biggest campus music gatherings in the country. After completing his final year of high school in 2015 at Bariga, DJ Enimoney began his professional disc jockey career. Wizkid persuaded DJ Tunez to join Starboy Entertainment as the official label DJ in 2015. Since joining Starboy Entertainment, DJ Tunez’s career as a DJ has favorably risen. One of DJ Tunez’s first productions was the infectious hit song “Iskaba” with Wande Coal In 2016. Okayafrica ranked the track as Nigeria’s second-best song of 2017.

“Turn Up,” Featuring Wizkid & Reekado Banks by DJ Tunez, was released in 2019 and had additional vocals by Rema.

Also, in 2019, Michael Babatunde Adeyinka participated as a guest panelist at a business event at Columbia University. He spoke about the business of literature and art on the African continent with other prominent music industry members. Special guest Olufeko, a technology and design executive moderated the panel.

DJ Obi
