03 Greedo’s Family Is Optimistic About His Release: Things Are Looking Up
The #FreeGreedo campaign has been active for a while. Although there haven’t been many announcements recently regarding 03 Greedo’s release, his influence may still be felt on the streets. Since being imprisoned, he has released a few projects, and before receiving his term, he is said to have recorded more than 3,000 songs.
Greedo may be returning home soon, according to stories that started to surface this morning. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s website states the following under Greedo’s parole review status: “The offender is currently not under review. Offender was approved for release.” He was “approved with completion of a program prior to release” on June 16, 2022, according to the header after that, headed Last Parole Hearing.
Even so, nobody in Greedo’s group has formally announced that Greedo would be freed. According to No Jumper, the rapper’s family is still unsure about the status of his parole. We should soon get a formal confirmation of his parole status, hopefully. Greedo’s family is still holding out hope for a favorable resolution, according to Jeff Weiss, who has been keeping close tabs on the case.
At the beginning of the year, Greedo and BlueBucksClan released a new song together called “Pourin’.” Since the publication of his EP, 03 Inna Key, the single was his first to be made available.
