Raye Releases Long-awaited Debut Album “My 21st Century Blues”

Raye, an independent recording artist and songwriter, has released her highly anticipated debut album, “My 21st Century Blues”. The album, which frequent collaborator Mike Sabath produces, features 13 tracks that touch on Raye’s experiences as a young woman of color in the music industry, as well as various topics such as sexual abuse, rape, body dysmorphia, addiction, misogyny, and climate change.Raye Releases Long-Awaited Debut Album &Quot;My 21St Century Blues&Quot;, Yours Truly, News, March 28, 2024

Raye has co-produced nearly half of the LP, with additional songwriting from BloodPop, Di Genius, and Punctual. The album includes previously released hit singles like “Escapism.” with 070 Shake, which reached #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the powerful feminist anthem “Ice Cream Man”.

Raye will embark on the first leg of her “My 21st Century Blues” world tour in February, performing 14 sold-out shows across Europe and North America. She will also hit the road this spring with Kali Uchis as the special guest on her Red Moon in Venus tour and announced a second leg of shows in the UK and Europe for November and December.
