2023 Elections : Man Slams Wizkid, Davido, And Burna Boy For Not Declaring Support For Any Candidate
A furious Nigerian fan unfollowed Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy for remaining silent over the election. He claimed that their lack of interest in the election is evidence that they don’t care about Nigeria or the welfare of its people and are just interested in the fandom they enjoy.
The angry fan slammed top artists Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy for remaining silent on the election, calling their actions selfish and heartless, as Nigerians prepared to choose the country’s next leader with many, including celebrities, loudly endorsing their favorite candidates.
In the viral video, the guy chastised Nigeria’s top three Afrobeats artists for neglecting to speak out and reassure their fans about today’s federal elections, which occurred on February 25.
He continued by mentioning recent political, security, and economic crises that have affected the nation and questioned their decision to remain mute in the face of such a significant development.
He suggested they should have persuaded their supporters to cast informed ballots in the election even if they didn’t overtly support a particular candidate. Finally, the man unfollowed all three singers on Instagram after being thoroughly let down by their carefree attitude.
Following Saturday’s general elections, the electorate will anticipate the results to favor their most preferred candidate as they look forward to another 4 to 8 Years of a new Government in power.
