21 Savage Invites Drake Out As A Surprise Guest During His Spelhouse Homecoming

Drake currently seems to be present everywhere at once. The Certified Lover Boy, a special guest of 21 Savage, stunned fans at Spelman and Morehouse’s combined homecoming after just practicing his Jamaican accent and lavishly tipping a local DJ. The duo entered the stage to perform “Knife Talk,” their big single together, as well as their respective songs, including Drizzy’s crowd-pleasing single “Non-Stop.”

Just a few weeks ago, following the festival’s previous show in New York, 21 Savage vowed never to play at any Rolling Loud event again.

“Rolling loud will never get a show out of me ever again” he tweeted.

Unknown factors may have influenced 21’s choice. The Georgia State Farm Arena hosted Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Tour stop on Tuesday, and the Atlanta native did pop up to play. Drake, also known as the 6 God, recently provided fans with an insight inside his arduous climb to the top of the music industry by sharing a sentimental throwback moment.

He revealed on social media that in 2006, he was paid just $100 to perform as Ice Cube’s opening act in Canada. Drake commented, “This is for anybody getting 100 a show right now… keep going,” along with a picture of the blacked out invoice.
