In response to overwhelming fan demand, iconic rapper 50 Cent has announced additional dates to the UK and Ireland leg of his upcoming ‘The Final Lap Tour’. The tour, which also features Busta Rhymes and special guest Jeremih, is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s debut album ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.
The New York rapper initially announced five dates for the UK and Ireland leg of the tour, all of which have now sold out. In response to the high demand, four more gigs have been added to the November schedule. These include additional performances in Dublin, Manchester, and London, as well as a new date in Newcastle on November 18.
The ‘Final Lap Tour’ is not just a celebration of 50 Cent’s music legacy, but it also marks a significant turning point in his career. During an Instagram Live session on May 23, the rapper hinted that this tour might be his last as he plans to shift his focus to his TV and film career. He stated that he has a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that he needs to work on and won’t be touring as much as he has been.
Despite this shift in focus, 50 Cent is determined to make this tour memorable for his fans. He mentioned that he’s aiming to lose 25 pounds to be in top shape for the tour. Tickets for ‘The Final Lap Tour’ are currently on sale, and fans are eagerly awaiting what might be their last chance to see 50 Cent perform live on stage.
