Since the news of the Memphis rapper’s passing broke, fellow rappers and fans have been sharing their thoughts, including Gucci Mane, who had a semblance of closeness to Big Scarr until his death.
In a post on his Instagram page, Gucci Mane shared clips of some of his moments with the rapper before his death, including one of Big Scarr performing before an audience at the Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas.
In the caption to the post, the “Wake Up in the Sky” rapper noted that Big Scarr’s death hurts, and he will miss him. You can check out his post and those of others below.
While several musicians have confirmed Big Scarr’s passing, the cause of death has still not been disclosed. Even before the confirmation, rumours were already swirling that the star was dead.
With his passing, Big Scarr joins a list of American rappers who vanished from the material plane before they turned 30 – a shock for the culture.
