Mavins’s rising singer Ugbekile David Osemeke, known professionally as Boy Spyce, reprimanded his fans for comparing and placing him at the level of famous Afrobeat Legend David Adeleke, often known as Davido.

Coming back from his much-needed hiatus, In a tweet, Davido thanked his followers for the tremendous support he has received as he prepares to release his long-awaited new album, “TIMELESS.” March 31. Commenting on Davido’s post, an overzealous Spyce fan with a Twitter account @Lonerszn30 implied that Mavin’s acts are now bigger than OBO in the industry after his social media hiatus.

He wrote:

“Boy Spyce is now bigger than you.”

Responding to such a bogus comment, Spyce hinted that @Lonerszn30 was talking under the influence of “hard drugs” and urged him to stop using dangerous substances while pointing out that Davido was his mentor.

Boy Spyce responded with the comment:

“Stay away from hard drugs, please. Na my Idolo be that.”
