According To Recent Autopsy Report, Rapper, Takeoff, Died As A Result Of Head And Torso Gunshot Wounds

According to an autopsy, rapper Takeoff passed away from gunshot wounds to the head and torso after being shot early on Tuesday morning just outside a private party at a downtown Houston bowling alley, according to investigators.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences conducted an autopsy before making the announcement, which comes as authorities continue to ask the public for assistance in finding the person or people who killed the rapper. “Penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm” were recorded as Takeoff’s main cause of death, and homicide was determined to be the cause of his passing.

Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, joined forces with his cousin Offset and uncle Quavo to form the Atlanta suburb-based rap group Migos, which has been nominated for a Grammy. A private party had just ended when gunfire broke out outside of 810 Billiards & Bowling, killing the 28-year-old rapper.

The 40 partygoers who left after the shooting are being sought out by investigators, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a news conference on Tuesday. According to Finner, there were at least two gunshots. He added that two further people were shot at but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospitals in private vehicles.
