After Disputing The “S.E.X” Claim, Cardi B Reveals She Has “Talked” To Madonna

After Madonna made remarks about the 30th anniversary of her coffee table book “S.E.X.,” Cardi B and Madonna have made peace.

“30 years ago I published a book called ‘S.E.X.’ In addition to photos of me naked there were photos of Men kissing Men, Woman kissing Woman and Me kissing everyone,” said Madonna on Saturday in an Instagram story post. She continued by highlighting the harsh criticism she faced at the time the book was published. “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked ass and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball.”

Cardi vented her frustration at Madonna’s post on Twitter early on Sunday morning in a string of now-deleted tweets. She specifically used a clown emoji to draw attention to the final phrase of Madonna’s message, which read, “You’re welcome bitches.”

As soon as that happened, Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked tweeted that he was “on the phone with Madonna and Cardi” and that he was “listening to both women share their perspective on the communication going on has widened their love for each other.”

Following Lee’s update, the two artists tweeted to followers that they had resolved their differences. “I talked to Madonna …It was beautiful …Have a great day and drive safely yallll,” wrote Cardi.

Madonna added, “I love you @iamcardib!! Always have and always will.”
