After The Bad Bunny Concert, Supporters Complain That Minute Maid Park Field “Looks Horrible”

Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican megastar, performed two sold-out nights at Minute Maid Park in Houston on September 1 and 2, and everything seemed to go according to plan at first. Aware spectators couldn’t help but notice that the “World’s Hottest Tour” shows left the field looking less than perfect for the Astros’ game against the Texas Rangers on Monday night.

An image shared on Twitter by user @DRDREon290 and later widely shared on social media depicts the view from the Crawford Boxes in left field, where the normally completely green grass is patchy in some places and marked with indentations that appear to be the remnants of the rectangular stage and seating area.

Social media users were outraged by the venue’s use for events besides baseball games, particularly during the season.

“I was sad to see the state of the Minute Maid Park field today, but I hope it can return to the beautiful field it was before!! It’s so perfect when it’s normal. Nothing beats Minute Maid. The grass is so smooth and flat. We need it that way again,” tweeted user @MGSportsTalk with another view from the field.

“I expect an apology from Bad Bunny for this,” another tweeted.
