Again, Gunna Denied Bond – Might Remain In Jail Until Early 2023

This is not the best of times for rapper Gunna as his bail bond was denied – again. With the latest verdict, the songster will spend the rest of the year in jail and only get to know about in fate in January 2023,

Gunna is standing trial for conspiracy to violate Georgia state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. The “Banking On Me” ace, born Sergio Kitchens, had pleaded not guilty in May, but his bail bond was denied.

His second application was also denied, further compounding his woes and erasing the possibility of him getting out of the slammer this year – except a miracle should happen.

One of the reasons adduced for denying him bond is that he might threaten potential witnesses and therefore frustrate the ends of justice. Already, even with the Georgia native behind bars, some reports online indicate potential witnesses are already being threatened.

Despite the uncertainty, Gunna’s associates still have him in mind. For instance, during a recent performance in Portugal, his associate and collaborator Roddy Ricchy had played “Pushing P,”  Gunna’s collaborative song with Future and YSL honcho Young Thug, to the delight of those who showed up for his set at Rolling Loud Portugal.
