AKA & KDDO Join Forces For “Company”

AKA & KDDO - Company

One of the reasons why AKA’s passing was difficult to accept among his ardent supporters and fans was the fact that his new album was already scheduled for release on Apple Music prior to his dying.

The new song “Company” is taken from the upcoming album “Mass Country.” Nigerian producer KIDDO lends his seasoned production and vocal delivery to the new song, which acts as one of the lead singles for his upcoming studio album.

AKA had found a polished, laid-back way to present his music. This was evident in his most recent tracks, particularly “Lemons (Lemonade),” which he collaborated on with Nasty C, another South African rapper. He also worked with Musa Keys and Gyakie, a gorgeous and delectable singer from Ghana, on the groovy “Paradise.”

The release date for the new song coincides with the rapper’s memorial ceremony, which took place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Gauteng.

The late rapper had first announced his forthcoming album on his social media accounts in January. His family reported that he worked really hard for the past two years to complete it. AKA’s new album will be released on February 24 as scheduled, the Forbes family confirmed, honouring his legacy.

So, go jam to the new song today in remembrance of the late rapper.
