All The Big Performances At King Charles III’s Coronation Concert

King Charles III’s official coronation ceremony was followed by a night of musical entertainment that the British royal family was seen attending. The king, 74, and queen, 75, and other royals like Prince William, Princess Kate, and their two eldest children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 8, visited the East Lawn of Windsor Castle for the coronation concert.

The young prince, who acted as a Page of Honor during the coronation, was seated next to his sister while their parents affectionately described the many performances on stage.

The coronation concert was the first time a concert was held on Windsor Castle’s grounds. The Coronation Choir, a choir made up of singers from all around the United Kingdom, performed alongside well-known musicians including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Nicole Scherzinger, Tiwa Savage and Andrea Bocelli at the musical spectacular. The royal family watched the numerous musical acts from the royal box, including Princess Eugenie and her expectant husband Jack Brooksbank, as well as Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall.

Following King Charles III’s coronation, which marked the culmination of Operation Golden Orb, a strategy for Charles’ accession to the throne that started after the queen’s death, there were several celebration events, including the performance.

The new king and queen were blessed and crowned England’s newest monarchs during the coronation ceremony at London’s Westminster Abbey. Will and Kate, their kids, Charles’ three siblings, nieces, nephews, and Prince Harry, the second son, attended.

Meghan Markle chose to stay in California with the couple’s kids to celebrate Archie’s 4th birthday, which fell on that day, so Harry went to the coronation ceremony alone. After the ceremony, Harry departed the country and did not stand with the other royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
