As “DS4EVER” Reaches Platinum Status, Gunna Writes In A New Instagram Post That He’ll “Be Home Soon”

Even though he has spent the past few months imprisoned in Fulton County Jail, YSL artist Gunna keeps an optimistic outlook. This is especially true in light of the recent announcement that his most recent album, DS4EVER, has achieved certified platinum status. According to HipHopDX, the rapper’s crew posted a message on his Instagram page, celebrating the fact that his album had sold over one million copies since its January release.

“Thankful to have the highest selling hip-hop album this year,” read the caption.

“Miss you all; love you and I’ll be home soon – Gunna,” …he ended the succinct but upbeat message. Although he’s undoubtedly prepared to go home again, the most recent information on the YSL Gang Indictment indicates that he and Young Thug will both remain in custody until their trial in early 2023.

Fortunately, the rapper has Kim Kardashian, a hugely powerful celebrity, on his side. The celebrity recently let her 73.1 million followers know that she wanted Sergio Kitchens to be released from prison by tweeting “#FreeGunna [Free emoji] [P emoji] ” and posting a screenshot on her Instagram Story.

Since his imprisonment in May, we’ve heard from Gunna on other occasions as well. The College Park native’s video conversation with his Godson recently went viral online, and in the video, the recording artist appeared to be having a fantastic time.
