While shooting the two-film adaptation of the popular musical “Wicked,” Ariana Grande is relocating into an eight-figure home in London. The 29-year-old singer, who has been cast as Glinda The Good Witch in the popular musical adaptation, will reside in North London throughout the filming period.
The music diva will make North London her home, where she will live next door to celebrities like Liam Gallagher and Ricky Gervais. A source told The Sun: “Ariana is renting a stunning house in one of the capital’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.” The huge mansion is rumored to have been constructed like a fortress to shield the well-known celebrity from inquisitive eyes.
“The home has private grounds and is well out of reach of other people, so she’ll be able to totally switch off after filming,” the source added. The projected cost of renting the home is “hundreds of thousands” of pounds. According to the insider, the house boasts a gigantic kitchen, bedrooms filled with luxurious furniture, enormous reception spaces, a giant movie theater, and spacious private gardens for entertainment.
The “7 Rings” singer outperformed Amanda Seyfried to win the part. The musical precursor to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, details Elphaba’s transformation into the Wicked Witch of the West and has made over $1 billion (£886.9m) over its nearly 20-year Broadway run.
