Assault Case: Lil Uzi Vert To Serve A Three-Year Probation Following No Contest Plead

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert has been sentenced to 3-year probation after pleading no contest in an assault case, according to reports from TMZ. The rapper, whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods, was charged with three different felonies, namely; assault with a firearm, criminal threats, and domestic violence.

There was also a misdemeanour charge of carrying a loaded firearm after an incident in July 2021 involving his then-girlfriend, Brittany Byrd. The rapper put a gun to her stomach and hit her right outside a coffee shop in Hollywood.

In addition to three years of probation, Uzi’s sentence will be including one year of mental health and substance abuse treatment, a year of domestic violence counselling, restitution, and a 10-year criminal protective order.

The rapper had recently been involved with the rapping duo City Girls JT. There had been breakup rumours, but everything seemed fine between the pair, as Uzi showered her in lavish gifts for her birthday last December. As bad as this may seem, it would still be better than being held behind bars, going into the system in exchange for freedom.
