At Something In The Water Fest, Pusha T And No Malice Reunited As “Clipse.”

Something In The Water this year has been a huge success. Tyler, the Creator, Lil Uzi Vert, Usher, Lil Baby, and others were among the festival’s performers. When Roddy Ricch paid respect to many of his fallen colleagues during his concert, he made headlines. To add to the festival’s allure, Pharrell Williams announced that all graduating seniors from DC public schools will be admitted free of charge.

Clipse made an appearance during Pharrell’s set, which was one of the festival’s most memorable performances. It was the duo’s first performance together since 2010. Pusha T and No Malice are brothers. Clipse had a successful run, beginning in 1992 and releasing music until Pusha T and No Malice split up in 2010.

After a few years apart, the two reunited for a guest appearance on Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel,” a song off his 2019 album Jesus Is King. They hadn’t played live together after their break-up, despite their periodic collaborations.

Clipse’s rendition of Something In The Water has been planned for quite some time. They were supposed to perform at the event in 2020, but it was postponed because to the COVID-19 outbreak, and they didn’t show up in 2021 either. Even though they weren’t on the official festival roster, Clipse were finally permitted to perform this year.
