Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha & Wife Nkechi Celebrate 25th Wedding Anniversary (Pictures)

For those who have loved fiercely and been loved the same way, love is a beautiful thing. And for the most part, they usually share their love story whatever chance they get. For Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha, a former captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, the opportunity came around recently when they celebrated their 25th marriage anniversary.

In a post on his verified Instagram page, the songster shared a picture of him and his wife Nkechi together in what appears to be a resort. In the caption to his post, he wished a happy 25th wedding anniversary to the wife of his youth.

For whatever reason, he didn’t tag her.  But the message was clear enough, and the public approved of it. Among those who interacted with his post was his former teammate Daniel Amokachi. other celebs were also in the comment section to celebrate with the couple.

 

Okocha has a loving relationship with his wife and had once shown that love by raising his jersey after scoring a goal. The inscription on that jersey reads, “I love you Nkechi.”

Recalling that moment, Nkechi would guess that was her husband’s way of saying thank you for giving birth and taking care of their child while he was away on football assignments.
