Mavin signee and versatile singer Ayra Starr suffered a recent stage fall while performing during her set for the recently organized Afrochella Festival in Ghana. Footage from the event showed a hyped Ayra in a yellow outfit well styled with her signature mini skirt starting the intro to the Mavin all-star hit song, “Won Da Mo,” which was released as the lead single for the Mavin all-star album, “Chapter X.”

But to dig into the song’s vibe and stir up the crowd’s energy, Ayra moved from one end of the elevated platform to another in haste which led to her slipping and falling to the floor of the stage. The audience reacted with shock, but Ayra seemed unfazed as she quickly sprang to her feet and carried on with her performance. She may have kept her cool on stage, but the singer was not pleased with what happened, so she called out the show organizers via her Twitter handle.
Ayra cautioned the organizers to do better and ensure that the stage is cleaned at the end of each artist’s performance, claiming the fall was “unnecessary and painful.” She also felt very embarrassed because of the incident and hoped her crush does not catch a glimpse of any footage from the event.
