Ayra Starr Thrills Her French Fans With Tracks From Her Highly-Anticipated Sophomore Album

Nigerian music superstar, Ayra Starr, is still promoting her upcoming second album.

Starr delighted the crowd with a selection of her popular tunes as she performed on the legendary stage of the Louvre in France on May 28, 2024. She performed songs from her soon-to-be-released sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21,” for the occasion. ‘Control’ from Ayra Starr’s upcoming album, which will be out on May 31, 2024, was performed.

She also sang a rendition of her classic song “Rush,” which became the first and only song ever certified Diamond in France, earning her a historic Diamond plaque.

Only a few weeks have passed since Ayra Starr headlined and stole the show at the C6 Fest in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition, she was just nominated three times for the 2024 BET Awards, including Best African Act and Best New Artist, which is evidence of her rapidly expanding international profile.

The celebrated musician is getting up for the release of “The Year I Turned 21,” her sophomore album, which will include guest appearances by Don Jazzy, Asake, Giveon, Coco Jones, Anitta, and her younger brother Milar. Ayra Starr has said that, while being written from the viewpoint of a 21-year-old, her upcoming second album is meant to appeal to listeners across all demographics.

Ayra Starr has released the singles “Rhythm & Blues,” “Comma,” and most recently “Bad Vibes” starring Seyi Vibez ahead of the release of her second album.
