B-Red Talks Davido, Family, Others; Acknowledges “He Is Older”

B-Red, a DMW member and artist from Nigeria, has admitted that he is older than Davido, his cousin. In a conversation with a journalist, he claimed that the DMW leader was his younger cousin. Although he did not specifically say it, B-Red also claimed that Davido is older than him in a different way, which is widely believed to be financial.

B-Red, is a stage name for Adebayo Adeleke. Yet, the fact that he is mainly recognized as Davido’s cousin is hardly breaking news.

With the release of the single “Insane Girl,” produced by Shizzi and containing vocals from Davido, he launched his solo career. He released his first EP, All the Way Up, in 2016. B-Red has been with HKN for five years, although he hasn’t released an album.
The only released EP had six additional tracks and eight songs, most already released singles. Other guests on B- Red’s project included Davido, Slimcase, Dremo, Sina Rambo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and veteran Nigerian singer 2Baba.

However, he recorded several singles between 2013 and 2015, including “Uju” and “Cucumber,” which he collaborated on with Akon. B-Red, an HKN singer and songwriter, released two songs in April 2019 named “E Better” with Mavin Records head Don Jazzy and “Achie” with Davido.
On October 12th, 2020, B-Red dropped a project titled “The Jordan.” His father, Senator Ademola Adeleke, made a special appearance in the intro.

In 2016, Davido and B-Red seemed to have a controversial fallout that trended, and Davido even took to social media to hint at it even though names were not mentioned in the posts. Also, it seemed mayorkun was somehow a part of the whole incident as he(Davido) also hinted at “being hated because of Mayorkun” while calling out B-Red.

But That was a long time ago, and the duo have seemingly patched things up and moved on, as seen by recent posts where they’ve been seen together and in good spirits -after all, They are brothers.
