Banky W Opens Up About Managing His Career And Being A Father

Nigerian businessman, politician, minister, actor, and musician, Banky W, is the proud husband of the equally prominent Adesua Etomi and father to a young son. Banky W spoke openly about fatherhood and its challenges in a recent interview with Hawa Magaji on the chat show “Who’s In My House.” He focused particularly on the challenges faced by busy fathers over 40.

Even though it’s exhausting, Banky W said, he wouldn’t have it any other way because he loves spending time with his son.

Additionally, the artist and father of one stressed in another recent interview that material wealth is not the secret to lasting pleasure. Everyone, according to Banky W, has an inward emptiness that only God can satisfy. He said that there can be no long-term happiness from trying to fill this emptiness with money, women, alcohol, or other earthly pursuits.

He stated that riches by itself does not equate to happiness, even if he acknowledged that a certain quantity of money is required for a pleasant life. To emphasize his point, Banky W recalled his experience sitting across from a millionaire in dollars who later committed himself.

Indicating his conviction that contentment originates from a deeper source than monetary achievement, he questioned why so many millionaires decide to take their own lives if wealth indeed gave happiness.
