Blink-182 Announces Dates For Their Third Local Performance In Tijuana And San Diego

Blink-182, a pop-punk band from San Diego, shocked the music industry last Tuesday when they said they were reuniting with their original vocalist, were releasing a new album, and would soon begin a global tour in Tijuana before coming back to San Diego later in the year and then continuing on.

Blink has added a second San Diego date, allowing residents who missed out on tickets when they went on sale last Friday another chance. In typical Blink-182 flair, their announcement video for their comeback, which includes Tom DeLonge joining the group, was rife with innuendos.

The announcement comes nearly a year after Mark Hoppus, the band’s bassist and co-vocalist, won his battle with cancer. “We’re coming. Tour’s coming. Album’s coming. Tom’s coming. Tickets on sale Monday. New song “Edging” out Friday,” the band wrote on their Twitter.

On March 11, 2023, Blink will begin their global tour in Tijuana, and on June 19–20, 2023, they will play in Pechanga Arena in their home city. The trip will come to a finish in New Zealand on February 26, 2024. On October 17, the first batch of tickets went on sale. Seats for the second San Diego performance will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21.
