Brymo Declares Himself The Most Powerful Artist In The World

Brymo, a stage name for Nigerian singer Olawale Ashimi, claims to be “the most powerful artiste” on the planet. He announced it on Thursday when reintroducing himself on Twitter after being criticized for his politically divisive opinions. Additionally, Brymo declared himself the “world’s pioneering sonic artist” and continued by delivering a cryptic message on how to succeed.

For a time now, Brymo has been starting various online arguments. Following his feud with Seun Kuti, the singer had recently called out Peter Okoye of the Psquare duet for disrespecting Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye were embroiled in a dispute on social media yesterday when Seun Kuti portrayed Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, as an acrobat. In response to Seun’s activities, Peter Okoye chastised him in a series of posts, saying that if he dropped his father’s last name, “Kuti,” he would become a nobody.

Brymo later chastised Peter Okoye for looking down on Seun’s father during his exchange with Seun Kuti. According to Brymo, Peter Okoye disrespected the late Fela Kuti to display how successful he was in life. The tweet has received various responses, with some believing the “Ara” singer is merely attempting to stir up trouble.
