BTS To Hold Live South Korea Concerts For The First Time In More Than Two Years

Next month, the famed K-pop group, BTS, will be kicking off the South Korean leg of their ‘Permission to Dance On Stage’ tour.

Releasing a statement to the fan community app, Weverse, earlier today, February 16, Big Hit Music announced that the boy band would be performing at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium on March 10, 12 and 13, consecutively. The upcoming shows will mark the group’s first concert in South Korea that will be happening in person after two and a half years, off the back of their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself (The Final)’ world tour back in October 2019.

It is worth noting that their March 10 and 13 shows will be streamed online simultaneously, while their March 12 show will be for “live viewing” in theatres worldwide. According to the agency, the ticketing details for both the in-person, online and theatre live streaming shows are yet to be announced but will be done in a separate Weverse post.

The band’s record label and agency, Big Hit Music, also noted that the septet’s upcoming shows could still get rescheduled or cancelled “depending on the social distancing level”. However, there will be a refund of tickets in the event of any cancellation, while announcements will be made in advance if the concert gets scheduled.
