BTS’s Jungkook Performs During The Opening Of The World Cup 2022

The 2022 FIFA World Cup began on November 20, and BTS’s Jungkook stole the show during the opening ceremony. Football enthusiasts and a member of BTS attended the event, which was held at the specially constructed retractable roof football stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.

More than 60,000 spectators, including members of the sporting organizations and supporters, welcomed Jungkook for a performance alongside Qatari singer and record producer Fahad Al Kubaisi prior to the opening match of the 2022 World Cup between the teams of Qatar and Ecuador.

While Jungkook initially concentrated on his singing of the recently released song “Dreamers,” he soon became at home on the stage in front of a large audience and turned his attention to his dances.

The Qatari singer joined him halfway through the stage, taking over with his own magnificent voice. The two hugged it out in the middle, and Jungkook finished it with a solo verse. After then, there was a dance break where the Golden Maknae’s stage presence was evident.

Fahad Al Kubaisi tweeted a note of gratitude to the BTS member, writing, “I can’t express my gratitude and happiness for my participation in the biggest event of all times the World Cup in my country #Qatar with the talented Jungkook, thank you for everything.”

On the morning of November 20, Jungkook pre-released “Dreamers” the official soundtrack, which is his solo endeavor, on music streaming services all over the world. He is now only the second soloist in history, after Ricky Martin, who made his own official solo song for the 1998 World Cup, named The Cup Of Life.
