BTS’s Los Angeles Concert, “Permission to Dance on Stage,” Is Currently Streaming On Disney+

Surprise! The Los Angeles performance of BTS’s “Permission to Dance on Stage” is now accessible globally on Disney+.

The BTS concert film, which documents the boy band’s stretch of performances at SoFi Stadium in late 2021, where they took over for a four-night run, is being released by the streaming service to kick off their annual Disney+ Day. With performances of the band’s biggest singles like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance,” the concert video, which was created by HYBE and directed by Sam Wrench and Junsoo Park, is described as being “stage-focused.”

All four nights of BTS’ mini-residency at SoFi Stadium saw instant ticket sales, and the event achieved a record-breaking boxscore total, according to the Billboard Boxscore, which was the most since 2012 for a run of performances at a single location.

Each night, 70,000 people were welcomed to an electrifying performance experience that made full use of the stadium’s enormous television screens and sophisticated fireworks. Variety’s Angelique Jackson described BTS’ debut performance in Los Angeles as being “rife with confetti, smoke, pyrotechnics, and — of course — the smoothest of dance routines.”

This year features many significant releases as Disney+ Day honors the best entertainment available on Disney+ and Hulu. Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, “The Simpsons,” and other studios have global debuts in the Disney+ Day content schedule.
