Burna Boy, Tems, And Asake Are Reported To Be Included In Coachella 2023’s Lineup

Nigerian singers Burna Boy, Tems, and Asake are rumored to appear at this year’s Coachella Music Festival, according to a list that has been circulating online. The Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert will host the annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, from Friday, April 14, to Sunday, April 23, 2023. There are already online stories and suspicions about the festival’s musical performers.

Consider how, in 2019, Coachella, which has previously included African artists on their stage, gained more notoriety in Nigeria when Burna Boy caused a stir when his name was published on the itinerary but was written in tiny characters. Black Sherif, the famous Ghanaian musician behind the song “Kwaku The Traveller,” will perform with Burna Boy, Asake, and Tems.

All the artists mentioned above had a fantastic year in 2022, releasing hit songs and becoming well-known worldwide. The three days of musical performances at the event would be led by headliners Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, and Frank Ocean. In addition, Burna Boy would perform for the second time, while Tems, Asake, and Black Sherif would make their stage debuts. Unfortunately, the show’s organizers have yet to make an official comment confirming or refuting the viral flier. Here is, however, here alleged flyer:
