Burna Boy’s “Last Last” Is Rollingstone’s Best Afrobeats Song Of 2022

The international smash hit “Last Last” by Burna Boy was ranked first on the list of the top Afrobeats songs of 2022 by the American music magazine Rollingstone. The song debuted in May and served as the lead single for Burna Boy’s sixth album, “Love, Damini,” which has achieved enormous popularity both inside and outside Nigeria. One of the top Afrobeats singles of 2022 was “Last Last,” which reached No. 4 on the UK Charts and No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Additionally, the song has been nominated for a 2023 Grammy Award for Best Global Song. Burna Boy’s “Last Last” led the top 10 songs, which also included Oxlade’s “Ku lo sa,” Asake’s “Sungba,” Ayra Starr’s “Rush,” and Pheelz’s “Finesse.” This comes only days before Burna shuts down Lagos for his “Lagos Loves Damini” concert scheduled to hold on new year’s day, January 1, 2023.
