Camila Cabello Explains How The “Ku Lo Sa” Remix With Oxlade Came About

Nigerian Afrobeats musician Oxlade and multi-platinum, top-charting singer/songwriter Camila Cabello have collaborated on an official remix after Oxlade’s COLORS performance of KU LO SA went viral. Camila Cabello’s entrancing vocals and Oxlade’s smooth flow effortlessly complement each other in the new version of KU LO SA, which furthers the song’s sensual and pop appeal. The remix will be published before a music video featuring both artists that will be unveiled the following week.

Speaking about the song in the caption of a new Instagram post made to promote the new record, Camila stated, “I was so excited when Oxlade asked me to be on his remix for KU LO SA because I have been such a huge fan of him, his music, and Afrobeats. In addition, she said, “Writing my part of the song was so easy and I knew this was going to be something special as soon as we started recording and working on the remix together.”

Oxy has been enjoying a new level of success since that COLORS show performance. Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has brought him out on different, sold-out international shows of his. Usher also did the same when during his performance in Ghana few months ago. Recently, Oxlade teamed up with Mayorkun for his new single, “Bad Boy,” which is already enjoying massive airplay.

With a début performance of his 2020 smash single Away, Oxlade is one of the 20 artists from VEVO DSCVR Artists to Watch 2023 that you need to be familiar with. Away, which was taken from his EP Oxygene, was the first song that made him famous overseas; Drake and others shared it, and Rolling Stone named it one of the “Top 50 songs of the year 2020.”
