Cardi B Delivers The Catchy ‘Seaweed Sway’ On ‘Baby Shark’s Big Show!’

Cardi B is taking her love for “Baby Shark” to a new height with her forthcoming guest-star role as Sharki B on Nickelodeon’s popular animated show, Baby Shark’s Big Show!

On the upcoming episode, Cardi’s character, Sharki B, will be teaching Baby Shark and his best friend William her catchy, viral-bound dance, “The Seaweed Sway,” right before performing it on stage, all captured in a clip shared exclusively with Billboard.

“Every fishy can do the seaweed sway/ Do it how you want to do it, or do it Sharki B’s way/ You can take a big bite/ Shake your tail or your fins, let’s begin,” raps Cardi in the lovely video, alongside hubby, Offset (voicing Offshark) and 3-year-old daughter, Kulture (Kulture Shark).

From what a press release says, Sharki B is “the biggest star in the seven seas — flashy, awe-inspiring, and ruthlessly fun — but always 100% herself and fin-spires other fishies to do the same.”

Baby Shark’s Big Show! is based on the Pinkfong song “Baby Shark” and its crazy viral dance video, which premiered on Nick Jr. back in December 2020, along with a Christmas special. A “Baby Shark” movie is currently in the works for a 2023 release date to further spice up the Nickelodeon series.

The full episode of Baby Shark’s Big Show! that stars Cardi B and her family will be premiering on Friday at noon on Nickelodeon.
