Cardi B Shows Off Her New Face Ink
Cardi B disclosed earlier this month that she had face piercings while she was a high school student. She currently has a tattoo on her face, a separate body modification. On Saturday, September 10, the “I Like It” rapper displayed the tattoo on Instagram Live and said that it was in memory of her kid. She turned the camera to her face during her live speech, revealing Wave’s name inscribed there in red script on the side of her face next to her jawline.
“I tatted my son’s name because I love him,” she said. She also had darker ink customized with her baby Kulture’s name to be placed on her upper arm. After fans watched a video of Cardi receiving the tattoo in August but were unable to decipher what it said, the meaning of the facial tattoo has long been up for debate. Cardi had played with the notion on Twitter back in January.
“Random but ….I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face….I really really wanna do it!” she wrote. “I want mine on my jaw.” The rapper’s latest skin art embellishments are by no means her first. Cardi has several tattoos on her body that are dedicated to other loved ones, like her sister’s name on her arm and Offset’s name on the back of her thigh. Take a look at the tattoo below.
