Popular Instagram comedian, Carter Efe, has just dropped a new record which he calls “Ololade Mi Carter.” The new song features Funny Muller, an up-and-coming artist. He made this known on his Instagram page a day before the song’s official release, calling it the song of the year. One thing about Carter is that he will hype the mix off his releases. He is always so gassed! So perhaps having a massive debut like “Machala” was enough to pump all the needed fuel for a proper takeoff.
With Beri Tiga’s smooth vocals on the beatsmith X-produced jam and Carter’s timely cameos, nothing could go wrong. The song’s success roared only hours after release, entering almost every African singles chart at number 1. Though the song later tanked due to lots of developing controversies around it. As if to move on from all the percentage drama, Efe collaborated with talented singer Ceeza Milli on “Ikebe Supa.”
Around the time the song was released, a fresh controversy about it sprung up, adding to its abysmal performance. But Carter thinks the third time is a charm, and with “Ololade Mi Carter,” he is hellbent on proving that he is no one-hit-wonder. Hopefully, he makes his point with this one.
