Charlamagne Tha God Responds To The Rumor That Remy Ma Will Take Angela Yee’s Place On “The Breakfast Club”

Charlamagne Tha God ruled out the possibility of Remy Ma taking Angela Yee’s place as one of his co-hosts when she quits the program during an interview with TDE signee Doechii on The Breakfast Club.

So where’s Angela? At the 33:05 mark of the interview, Doechii questioned. Doechii questioned why the longtime co-host was departing the program, to which DJ Envy said, “She’s not here, she’s actually in Chicago.” Charlamagne and Envy both said, “She got her own show.”

“Why did she get her own show? What did you guys do?” asked Doechii smilingly. “Nothing!” retorted Charlamagne. “She got her own show, she comes on right after us [so] it’s like a spin-off.” Doechii then enquired as to his thoughts regarding everything that had transpired. Given their lengthy working relationship, Envy continued, he is “sad” about Yee’s leaving.

Doechii then claimed to have heard a story that Remy Ma would be taking over Yee’s duties, but the two co-hosts quickly refuted it. “No, that’s not true,” said Charlamagne. “That’s a random rumor.” Doechii confessed she would play her own music but the two made fun of the idea of her co-hosting the program with them.
