Future, a famous American rapper, amazed Tems with a shocking but kind gesture after the legendary victory at the 65th Grammy Awards to honor her role in the smash single “Wait For U” and to commemorate the win in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category. The rapper gifted Tems a sizable and gorgeous flower bouquet to celebrate the victory. Additionally, Future included a note with the bouquet of flowers in which he acknowledged his appreciation for her involvement in the song
The note read: “Tems, Accept this token of beauty as a thank you for being the best part of our Grammy Award Winning song. This is just the beginning. Future”.
Because Tems and Drake had already become industry pals after having worked together on “Fountains,” a song off Drake’s 2021’s release “Certified Lover Boy,” it is possible the rapper put Future on to Tems’ music, which birthed the collaboration that won all three of them a Grammy. The kind gesture from Future comes before Tems bagged a new award at the recently concluded Soundcity MVP Awards. Tems took home the “Female MVP” award in a category that housed other great African female vocalists like Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage, Gyakie, Niniola, Boohle, and a few more names.
