Chris Brown And Usher Perform At “Lovers & Friends” Festival Following Reported Open Fight

Before the second annual Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas, Chris Brown and Usher may have patched things up. The singer performed at the festival on Saturday night (May 6), only one day after the “New Flame” collaborators allegedly fought during Brown’s 34th birthday celebration. Usher debunked allegations that his face was “kinda jacked up” following the supposed incident by posting pictures of his bruise-free face on social media hours before Brown’s performance.

Usher will also perform this weekend, with Ari Lennox, Muni Long, and Summer Walker joining him as special guests. According to TMZ, Usher and Brown’s alleged altercation at Skate Rock City in Las Vegas was about the latter’s canceled American Music Awards performance, which went awry when a visibly drunk Brown acted in a “disrespectful” way toward guest Teyana Taylor.

According to a video at the birthday party, Usher tried to step in, but Brown allegedly branded the Confessions singer a “coward” before retreating to the venue’s parking lot. Usher allegedly followed Brown outside, after which, according to witnesses, Breezy and his security team “jumped” the eight-time Grammy winner, giving him a “bloodied nose.”

During another Lovers & Friends incident, Brown was captured arguing with festival security backstage. He addressed the situation in The Shade Room’s Instagram comments section.
