Chris Brown Complains That “Breezy” Isn’t Receiving Enough Media Attention

Chris Brown lamented on Instagram on Sunday that his most recent album, Breezy, hadn’t received enough attention and that media outlets only cared about him when there were bad news stories to report. In a post on his story, the Grammy Award-winning musician discussed his thoughts and said that the deluxe edition of Breezy would soon be released.

“July 8th [Breezy] deluxe album, not that [it] matters…,” wrote CB. “SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album…[cricket emojis] .”

“I’m back on my gangsta shit…It’s BRACKIN at all Times,” he continued in a subsequent post.

Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Tory Lanez, and other artists collaborated on the June 24, 2022 album Breezy. His 2019 album Indigo is followed by this project. It sold 72,000 equivalent album units and reached a peak position of number four on the Billboard 200 chart.

The $20 million lawsuit Chris was subject to earlier this year, accusing him of rape, was one of the bad stories about him that received extensive press. The accusations were rejected by Brown, who called them “real bullshit.” However, later this summer, Chris Brown will co-headline a tour with Lil Baby.
