Following a recent post uploaded online, famous Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has generated a lot of conversation. Yemi Alade displayed her growing tummy in the post, flaunting her pregnancy, leading to congratulatory comments from online users. The singer of “Johnny” posted the images on her Instagram and verified Twitter accounts.

It turns out that the rumors about Yemi being pregnant were true, as this recent revelation comes months after the Nigerian entertainment industry was briefly rocked by claims that Yemi Alade, an Afrobeat star and one of Nigeria’s most successful female acts, was expecting with the president of the Republic of Togo. The couple has reportedly been dating since 2017.
When gossip vlogger Tosin Silverdam shared a video on social media with a man claiming that Yemi Alade is pregnant for the president of Togo and that he plans to make her his sixth wife, the rumors started to spread.
Yemi Alade had come out in an attempt to deny such information, labeling the whole scenario as “Men.” in reaction to the constant allegations that she has a child with Togo’s President, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé Eyadéma, The Singer, who recently launched her “Baddie Baddie” album, tweeted emojis, including a laughing and a pregnant emoji.
With the pregnancy confirmed now, what isn’t certain, is whether the Togo President is responsible, as this will further cast light on the sixth-wife rumors.
