Cyn stated that she wanted to create a dream world free of the logical and familiar, and that the overall playfulness of the music inspired them to investigate the surreal. The video combines live-action, collage animation, and immersive backgrounds, with Cyn shown sipping a cocktail on the moon, towering over the pyramids as a UFO circles, Godzilla-style overseeing Los Angeles, and dancing in a cowboy hat on a pasture.

Cyn has previously received praise from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and The FADER, and has over 215 million worldwide streams. Katy Perry noticed her and after signing with Unsub Records, she accompanied Perry on tour and released her debut EP, Mood Swing, to critical praise.

Her 2020 single “Drinks” charted in the top 25 at US pop radio and was featured heavily in the Academy® Award-winning Promising Young Woman soundtrack and Netflix’s hit series Inventing Anna. Her compositions have also appeared on the soundtracks of To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and Birds of Prey, both produced by Warner Brothers.

Billboard called Cyn’s music “one to watch,” and FLAUNT Magazine said, “The voice that captivated Katy Perry is about to make love to your ears next.” Her distinct sound inspires strong visuals, and her playfulness and creativity shine through in her newest video for “Losing Sleep.”

The video is a visual feast, and the song is likely to be a hit with alt-pop fans. Cyn’s position as a rising star in the music industry was further cemented when David Byrne added “Losing Sleep” to his “Music for Valentines” playlist.
