DaBaby Throws A Party In New “Shake Sumn” Video

DaBaby has returned to the scenes with yet another imaginative music video. The Charlotte rapper made a comeback on May 5, releasing his CALL DA FIREMAN EP, a succinct three-song collection that set the stage for his summer energy. He released on May 8, the accompanying video for the project’s opening track, “Shake Sumn.”

Comedian Funny Marco makes a guest appearance in the latest Reel Goats-supported video, doing his best to deliver his daily news broadcast. He is then stopped by a wild party occurring inside the fire station, where he discovers DaBaby in the midst of the craziness. He puts down his distinctively raucous style lyrics on the song:

“Yeah, call the fireman, she a hot girl, put her out, ooh, I just broke a sweat in this b**ch/ Get a towel, she said, ‘Nothin’ been happenin’ now, it’s a drought,’ I tell her put her a** in the air/ D**k her down, go get in timeout, you a baddie/ Just sent me a spot with the addy, I get up and pop me a Addy, I get up and pop me a Addy/ I get up and catch me a flight, the s**t took ’bout four hours, went out to Cali”

DaBaby’s only project since his 2022 “Baby on Baby 2,” which debuted at No. 34 on the Billboard 200, is CALL DA FIREMAN.

There were 14 terrific tracks on “Baby On Baby 2” and Anthony Hamilton made a guest appearance.He also released BETTER THAN YOU with YoungBoy Never Broke Again a few months before. The “BOP” rapper can also be heard on recent collaborations including “Wakanda” by Anuel AA, “NUN” by Trippie Redd, and others, in addition to his own releases.
