Davido Asks A Private Jet From PUMA Following His Invitation To The Manchester City Vs. Chelsea Game

On May 21, Nigerian musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, made a special request to be flown out to see the Premier League match between Manchester City and Chelsea. Global sportswear company Puma tweeted to invite him to the game, but the ‘IF’ singer insisted on VIP treatment and asked for a private plane to pick him there.

Everything began when Puma, Man City’s official designer, posted images of a new jersey on social media. On match day 37 of the Premier League, Manchester City will welcome Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening. When Davido praised the new Manchester City jersey created by Puma, it ignited a discussion.

The German industrial behemoth then thanked him and invited him to attend the Sunday game. The musician requested that they send a jet to encourage him, and Puma gave their word to make that happen. Later, Davido acknowledged that PUMA had dispatched the jet and that he was on his way to Manchester City.

On Premier League matchday 37, Manchester City faced Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. After defeating Chelsea 1-0, Manchester City was awarded the Premier League championship. The winning goal by Julian Alvarez, which Cole Palmer skillfully assisted, ignited the celebration mood that had been developing at the Etihad Stadium.
