Davido Explains Lack of American Collaborations on ‘Timeless’ Album
Nigerian singer Davido has revealed why there are no American artist collaborations on his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ which was released on March 31, 2023.
Davido explained to Hot 97 that he and other artists are becoming more comfortable with the Afrobeats sound, eliminating the necessity for collaborations with international bands.
Davido highlighted the growing success of Afrobeats, noting that ‘Timeless’ topped the US iTunes list, making it the first and only African album to do so.
