Davido Sends Fans A Holiday Message And Teases New Music For 2023

Award-Winning David Adeleke, a Nigerian artist better known by his stage moniker Davido, has announced the release date of a new song while simultaneously using social media to extend holiday greetings to his followers. After going offline following the devastating death of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke on October 31, 2022, Davido made his long-awaited internet comeback yesterday, December 19, 2022, to much fanfare.

Davido, Trinidad Cardona, and Aisha, who are all included in the official World Cup song “Haya Haya,” which translates to “better,” turned out a spectacular performance at the Qatar 2022 World Cup closing ceremony over the weekend. Before this, Davido had decided to break his social media absence by sharing photos that featured himself and his partner.

Davido has also shared receipts from the Qatar performance in a new Instagram post. While wishing his fans and many supporters a splendid holiday in the post’s caption, he served us sights from the Qatar stage, where he did his thing with the other two artists featured in the World Cup song. And just like his previous Qatar-related post, the new upload has accumulated over a million likes and nearly 35K comments, which showed that everyone was glad to have him back.

In another post, this time via his Insta stories, Davido gave what would seem like a clue to a new release slated for March next year, according to what was written on the story.
