Even eminent celebrities have been known to lose their cool when they meet Nigerian artist Davido because of his domestic and overseas popularity. The singer met with the president of Botswana while attending the Forbes Under 30 summit there on April 24. This came after his exciting Timeless event on April 23 in Lagos.
Mokgweetsi Masisi was seen in a video he posted on his profile on Instagram calling out Davido’s name and giggling with delight. Davido gave the president a bow and a handshake before giving each other a warm embrace. The two sat next to each other at their table for a talk after their overwhelmingly joyous first meeting.
Davido’s music has always been about joy, courage, and celebration, and this was also clear from his performance the day prior in Lagos, Nigeria. During the night, he sang some of his best hits, most recent songs, and audience favorites. The crowd attendance and enthusiasm that evening is another evidence of the love he has received so far.
