Day 1 Of Governors Ball 2022 Featured A$AP Ferg, Jack Harlow, And Kid Cudi

The Governors Ball is in full swing in New York City this weekend, and while both Migos and Lil Wayne were unable to make it due to scheduling conflicts, the musicians who did attend did their best to ensure that everyone had a wonderful time.

According to Page Six, Kid Cudi’s performance on Friday’s main stage at the Citi Field complex in Queens was the night’s highlight. His headline performance came after the release of his Entergalactic hit, “Do What I Want,” which set the tone for his future musical endeavors.

As previously stated, the Migos were originally rumoured to be unable to play this weekend, prompting fresh split rumors to circulate. The group’s label verified to TMZ that they are still together and that schedule issues were the reason for their split.

Lil Wayne was promptly drafted in to fill in for them, yet a tweet claiming “flight delays” revealed that his performance had been canceled as well. A$AP Ferg, a neighborhood hero, stepped through to save the day, delivering the excitement as usual.

Jack Harlow also wowed the crowd with favorites from his Come Home The Kids Miss You album, including “Dua Lipa” and “Young Harleezy,” which the crowd enthusiastically sung along to.
