D’Banj Discloses His Earnings From His Reality Show, “Koko Mansion”

Nigerian musician D’Banj, whose real name is Oladapo Oyebanjo, has spoken up about his successful business endeavors on his debut reality show, “Koko Mansion,” which aired in 2009.

Speaking as a guest on TVC’s Your View, the well-known artist reflected on his financial achievement throughout the program’s run, in which contestants competed for a N5M cash prize and extra presents. The clip appeared online on Friday, May 17.

D’Banj disclosed that he profited greatly from the reality show, having received a whooping $1 million in compensation—an incredible achievement given the absence of programs such as Big Brother Naija at the time. D’Banj gave some thought to his prior accomplishments and hinted at intentions for his forthcoming 20th anniversary as a vocalist.

He spoke about meeting with partners to write new songs before that milestone, however he did not provide many specifics. Along with expressing gratitude to Peruzzi and lauding the gifted songwriter as a brilliant writer, the music icon recently apologized to fellow singer Don Jazzy.

Working with Peruzzi on a track really brought D’Banj’s wealth to the fore. He also thanked Timaya for all of his help and encouragement over the course of his professional development.

While D’Banj navigates the music industry and considers his legacy, fans are anxious to learn more about his approaching anniversary celebrations and possible new albums.
