Demi Lovato Announces Her New Rock Album, ‘Holy Fvck’

Demi Lovato has announced the release of her new studio album, ‘Holy Fvck,’ which will be released later this year.

Lovato’s eighth studio album was announced yesterday (June 6), but would be released on August 19 by Island Records, more than a year after their 2021 album ‘Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over.’ Last week, Lovato announced a new song, ‘Skin Of My Teeth,’ which would be included on the album (May 27).

The song will be released this Friday as the album’s lead single (June 10). Oak Felder, who first collaborated with Lovato on their 2017 album ‘Tell Me You Love Me,’ produced it. Lovato will perform “Skin Of My Teeth” as a musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the night before its official release.

The creative process for ‘Holy Fvck’ was hailed by Lovato as “the most rewarding yet” of all of their studio albums in a press statement. “I’m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me,” they said. “Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself.”

Lovato went on to thank her followers, dubbed “Lovatics,” for their support, regardless of whether they’ve been “rocking out with me since the beginning” or are “just now coming along for the trip.
