‘Desires’ – The New Single From Cinnamon Sun
‘Desires’ is the next single from sunny FNQ boppers, Cinnamon Sun. A banger-of-a-track about lust and love, encased in an epic EDM-style production by the incredible Jayden Reid from Leeway Records.
The first thing we hear (and the only thing that stays throughout the whole track) is a very natural sounding classical guitar. It’s quite surprising when the four-to-the-floor kick comes in; there is a beautiful contrast between the live acoustic guitar, and the rest of the heavily-electronic production. Elegant melodic vocals from Davy Simony and Jimmy Harwood paint images of the desire-based thought patterns that we all experience. Epic risers, tight grooves and silky harmonies keep you hooked in. And then..the chorus hits…🤯
The Cairns-based group has gained some serious traction since their journey commenced only 18 months ago. With the majority of their singles being premiered on Triple J, and having clocked over 320,000 streams on Spotify, the future looks bright for these young creatives.
